Mian Shakeel Aslam---Michael Jackson was an overdose of propofol, if not survive because of negligent care, Dr. Conrad Murray, a cardiologist, said today in the manslaughter trial of Murray.

Alon Steinberg, a cardiologist at the California Medical Board, said Murray was unethical and has shown gross negligence in his treatment of the pop icon.Murray could face four years in prison if convicted of negligent homicide.

"If these differences would not have happened, Mr. Jackson would have to be alive," said Steinberg.

After cons-examination, Mr. Steinberg said Jackson was "absolutely savable" when Murray first found the singer does not respond. Murray told police in a taped interview that he met the singer left for 2 minutes and could not find it at noon June 25, 2009.

Steinberg said Murray neglected to give Jackson propofol to treat insomnia and could not respond correctly to Jackson when the singer suffered a respiratory arrest. Propofol is a powerful narcotic usually administered in a hospital.

"All these changes: to propofol, so that the propofol in an uncontrolled environment, without staff, without reacting with appropriate supervision, not ready, not appropriate to arrest [breathing] Do not call 911 contemporary so that all directly affect the life, "Steinberg said.

Steinberg called on Murray's bizarre behavior. Murray did not immediately call 911 if it reacts the singer is no longer in his room after a night of giving sedatives singer to help him sleep found. He called the personal assistant of Michael Jackson and Jackson the leader shouted for help. A bodyguard ended up being 911 to 12.21 clock

The cardiologist noted that it took only four minutes for the ambulance to respond to Jackson and that the singer would have received assistance much earlier.

"Every minute counts," he said.

"It is basic knowledge in America, if someone goes down, you must call 911 for help," he said. "Dr. Murray is known that he would need to know:" I don ' have any devices to help Mr. Jackson. I have none of these drugs, I do not have medical personnel. "Have '

Dr. Nader Kamangar, who is an expert in sleep medicine, said that intensive care, beginning after 4 to 5 minutes, brain cells die one. Over time, Kamangar said the brain damage is "irreversible, we reached a point where even if you're healthy, it is impossible."

If Murray Jackson tried to help, he made serious mistakes, Steinberg said.Murray performed CPR on one hand the singer while he was lying on a soft bed.The type of respiratory arrest that Jackson was suffering do not require immediate CPR, but the call to 911, the breakdown of the singer with a resuscitator and the use of the drug flumazenil, Steinberg said.
